Daniel Porter​

Dr. Daniel Porter’s research activities have been focused on developing technologies that improve the patient experience by increasing IVF pregnancy rates and reducing multiple births. Dr. Potter is nationally and internationally recognized for his expertise, particularly in the areas of preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), eugenics and assisted reproduction. To date, patients from more than 50 states and 74 countries have turned to Dr. Porter for help. As laboratory director at Natera, a genetics company, he was instrumental in the development and realization of 23 pairs of chromosomal PGD, as well as pioneering its introduction into routine clinical practice. Dr. Porter’s current research activities include the development of GenderSureTMPGD, the Thrive-VF2 phase 2 clinical trial, and work on single embryo transfer and eugenics. As an author and co-author, he has published more than a dozen peer-reviewed scientific articles and more than 50 scientific abstracts that have been presented at major medical symposiums around the world.
